What do you think of the quote "What we do in life echoes in eternity"?

Physically yes. Universe is a gigantic butterfly effect simulator but this extent is so marginal. Even if you could destroy earth in time and space dimensions of universe it's nothing
um... I try to stay a little more focused on today 'cuz that's all I got to work with and eternity is a long time.

You just reminded me of my favorite movie , Gladiator. Maximus struggled throughout the whole movie. He had to find the courage to stay brave and fight through his pain so he could finally find peace.
Very similar to my personal belief regarding an afterlife. I believe life is temporary, and the ultimate goal lies in the hereafter.
I believe it's absolutely true. I mean, we talk about racism today because 5,000+ years ago some moron was like "I own this person."
Slavery was common globally back then. It was just the law of the jungle and the way it was. I'm not sure you can call everyone who owned a slave a moron back then as that was just the norm of society back then. Sure, you could question their sense of morality and empathy, but again... a lot of them just did it for convenience and a better standard of life. Not as different to capitalism as you might think. Did you know that more than 94% of clothing companies don't pay their workers livable wages? Is that not slave labour?
Oh I absolutely agree. And slavery is still shockingly common and accepted in many countries. But I still think slavery is immoral and not an ideal system, even when looked at from the perspective of an individual who wants absolute power.
nope, when most of us die soon there will be nobody to remember that we were ever here.
Some people don't like that life is a test or could be viewed as like a test to qualify for blissful eternity or permanent damnation
There was a House MD episode like this once
The episode synopsis or similar jargon wrote like ©️"House doesn't like the idea of life being viewed as a test - that's why he's indifferent / critical of all religions of his patients" that he fictionally has
Certainly!
Gung HO... or is it Geronimo!
