Agree. A fit person runs because he can, a fat person runs to improve. He knows people will laugh but waddles on anyway.
Same with people learning languages, the sooner you put into real life practice what you learn in class the quicker you'll learn, even if you look like an idiot when you try to order a cheese sandwich and say your sister has married an octopus.

Most people think I'm stupid, so there's that. Also I'm trying to improve at chess (pretty pointless at my age) and about half my opponents must think I'm stupid.
