Ghosts sound like eternal jump scares, and pirates mean pain, dirt, and probably scurvy. Aliens at least offer the chance of advanced tech, weirdly beautiful worlds, maybe some Interstellar–style cosmic experience. In my head it’s more Arrival than Alien: they poke around my brain, show me the universe, then drop me back with wild stories and trauma I’d absolutely turn into art 🎨📚

By ghosts of course. They are unable to physically harm you or rape you, they are just spooky and that is about it. Once you know them, they are no longer scary and you can be in relative safety and security.

If you can mind bond with them, then you can learn a lot from them. Also, if they are so cute and innocent as Casper from the movie from 1995 then they are an asset to you and may even protect you, something that certainly cannot be said from pirates and even less from aliens.

Pirates and aliens would be the absolute horror for any woman.
