This question is brought to you by the bird that pooped on my windshield this morning. And the mysteries of the universe.

Ok, so, like earlier I went out to my Jeep to get something and I was just standing there contemplating the universe 'cuz I might of forgot what it was I went out to get in the first place but it's really nice out today so I was just kinda' enjoying it, when suddenly a bird pooped on my windshield. I mean, like, what divine timing , right? Maybe it's a message from the Gods or something? What could it all possibly mean? What mysteries of the universe are unfolding right in front of me? And like, how special and blessed am I, in all of creation, to be right there at that divine moment to witness the raw, awesome beauty of nature in all her blessed glory as she unveils her deepest secrets just for me? Oh joyous joy and rapture!!

But anyways , if nothing else it led me to todays awe inspiring and meaningful question, Has a bird ever delivered a message on your windshield?

When I went to my very first high school "Friday Night Lights" football game at a new school, I was talking to a very nice boy that I knew from biology class. As we were talking, I felt something hit the top of my head. By the look on his face, I knew what it was 😂 I casually turned and looked at my friend, and before I said anything, she said, "Yes, a bird just shit on your head"! Her and I left immediately to go wash it off. Funny thing is, I wasn't that embarrassed and it turned out, it was a good ice breaker, because everyone actually laughed about it and were cool about it when I would talk to them lol The message was, "He probably isn't meant for you". That is the only time it's happened.

Around here we've huge numbers of jackdaws and rooks and in the evenings they like to leave a little present. But seagulls are the worst, they'll just sit on your car and take a huge dump

The birds do come and say hello to me every morning I'm sure that counts.

And I believe little birds do deliver important messages about relationships, but they haven't given me a message.

But during the WWl and WWll over 250,000 sent reliable communication especially when radios failed.

These birds delivered vital information from front lines, downed planes, and stranded ships. Thirty two pigeons received the animal equivalent of the British Victoria Cross, the top award for bravery.

So the bird could have been delivering you a message, and it's up you to decipher it's meaning 🙂

Yes im not sure this is related to your message but, do you know the parable of the little bird who flew south too late?

In the story, a bird fails to migrate in time, freezes, falls into a field, and is warmed by cow dung. The bird starts singing but is subsequently eaten by a cat, teaching lessons on handling difficult situations.

Not everyone who drops poop on you is your enemy.
Not everyone who gets you out of poop is your friend.

I went to a fresh crab place that was packed but there was a spot right up front as luck would have it. When I came out it looked like 50 birds went on my black Mercedes. I looked up and saw them on a telephone wire above the parking space and now realize why the space was empty. It was so bad that it was actually funny. Like a bird shit machine gun splattered my car for a hundred rounds. Now we drive by and laugh if someone is in that space.

As bad as that was, you haven’t seen anything until you see pelican shit hit your car. It’s like a shit baseball hitting.

@RandomGirl42 unfortunately, while living in CA, a bird or birds have pooped not just on my windshield but, at one point at LAX after leaving my car there for a week the local pigeons shit all over my car, - top - hood - and windshield. Had to stop at a gas station and clean it mess off the windshield so I could drive home.

Not my windshield recently but a few months back I was walking across a wide open parking lot with a two friends on either side of me and who do you think got the full hit from the fly by seagull bombing. Me on my head. I bought a lottery ticket that day.
