I know I'm clingy, clingy in the sense that I wanna spend as much time with him as I can. Even if I'm just going to the grocery store or for a walk, if he's home, I want him to come with me. Plus, I like a lot of hugs and kisses lol I know it can be annoying and it has caused very minor issues. Its funny though, when my ex and I broke up, he drunk texted me one night and said how much he missed my clinginess. He's the one that complained about it the most!

I think clinginess is often misunderstood.

At its core, it usually comes from wanting closeness and reassurance which is human.

It only becomes unhealthy when it turns into dependence or a loss of self.

The key is balance: caring and being present without losing your own sense of stability.
