I'll start... that they can't be raped or physically abused by women.

i believed all these myths at some point in my life (mostly as a younger teen):

-that 90% of grown men can't feel emotions besides anger, pride and pleasure more or less. I thought once guys get to middle school they'd stop being able to feel a full range of emotions because of society, and that only a sliver of guys can. i remember literally thinking men can't feel actual happiness, excitement, feel any hurt, embarrassment, sadness whatsoever, etc.

- related to the first one, but guys can't be hurt. so you can say whatever you want to them or even treat them badly, they can't feel anything so they don't care.

- that 80-90% of guys have no interest in truly dating girls and just sleep around, and aren't capable of feeling love either. if they try to date it's just for sex. and they hate and look down on 'good girls', but love and respect sluts.

-that dudes don't care about how they look and have no insecurities.

-that guys are sex obsessed and think about it 24/7. that's the main topic with their guy friends when girls aren't around, and they think with their second brain most of the time.

- related to the sex obsession, but men being incapable of not consenting. I thought you can't assault, rape or abuse a guy. like guys are wired to always be ready to go and would love to be touched up by women. so it's not bad if you grope a guy or force yourself on him, he'll like it. it might even make his day. when I was like 15, I even thought little boys could kinda consent and enjoyed it when they were you know...(if it was a woman, not a man), but that was mainly after seeing guys online saying that or that they wished they were molested or that male victims are lucky.

- that men hate women and can't feel any empathy, care, or any warm anything for them, and view them as just objects for sex. and that all good treatment from men, is a mask to act socially acceptable or a ploy to get sex.

Unable to express emotion , often encouraged to suppress but hopefully this is changing.

You are spot on about the Rape and abuse example , I've often wondered just how many men have been raped especially when it comes to ovulation and pregnancy , women are quick to point out that a wet virgina is biological , and that is correct , but so is an errection , particularly maybe a morning one.

We had a high profile rape case in Australia, I don't consider it rape , and all the guy did was finger her , not forcefully , in an " mistaken identity " scenario.

Rape scenarios have simply gone way too far , a matter of interpretation.

I have read that men can indeed be raped by women, if the woman is stronger or uses some method to weaken the man. Yes, it has happened.

To answer you, one thing that is 100% true about men, is that they think differently or reason differently while women use their emotions to think, sometimes. I can't say ALL women but I believe it to be most times. Men are also very controlling of their emotions and show less of them (ie; crying) because they have been taught to be this way, from the time they are small.

Honestly, I think most men and women are more alike--than they are different.

Again that all men are the same. A lot of people just think that sexes think in a hive mind. That all other men or women think like them…. And the opposite sex thinks the same.

I agree a million percent men are victims they just are less likely to come forwards.

That all men are pervs and only think of sex. Most men don’t think of sex all the them….. They think about work, and their family, and what they’re having for lunch, and tons of other things. If someone thinks of sex all day and I’m sure there’s people who do…… that’s a mental disorder.

Also that men are bad communicators. Generally said by women who are very indirect and expect men to read their minds hence they aren’t good at communicating. Obviously not all women and there’s men who are bad communicators.

Probably the idea that men are always emotionally simple or don’t feel things deeply.

A lot of men actually do feel deeply, they’re just not always taught how to express it openly.

I think many men hide vulnerability behind humor, silence, or acting emotionally detached more than people realize.

That we're only interested in sex, when we pursue women. Although that's often true of men in their 20's and 30's, that's not true of all men. After you've had plenty of sex, you realize that the only difference between most women is the way they look and their IQ. In the bedroom, the vast majority of them are pretty similar.
