Has the dating acceptance rate for below-average people dropped a lot?

I feel a lot of people are invisible.
Even if they are attractive enough, the way they don't want to give themselves up for someone for below average people feels uneasy for them.

I know ugly people that are treated as attractive because of their behaviour and confidence and I know attractive people that are treated as grossly ugly because they have no composure or self-esteem. Men are pliable creatures and if you are healthy enough to be a wife and mother by being biologically strong, they usually do not have too many visual cue elimination rules for what they will not accept.

no it's the same as it's always been. being physically unattractive is a challenge for dating, especially if you want someone that is attractive, because of biology. but we are increasingly becoming more superficial as a society though that's for sure

i think there has always been low interest in dating below average people , i suppose decades ago someone might of dated whoever was available if they were in a small town or lived on a farm and so some of these people still managed to get married back then but now its like harder

I think this is probably a thing with women much more than it is with men. Women are more focused on a partner's looks and appearance than men are, and they are largely influenced by the fake glamor they see on social media so that is what they want in themselves and a man.
