Do YOU find maps of our world fascinating? How often do you look at one?

Not so much modern political maps like in the photo. But I do like browsing around on Google earth. I've also got the windy app on my phone that let's you see various weather features around the world, wave heights, pollution levels etc which can be interesting. For me it's what's going on that's more interesting than border lines.

I much prefer more local maps particularly if they show something about the area here's an interesting old one of male height in the UK from 1883 I was thinking of using as the base of a question on here.

And here's an ancient Greek one of the UK you could still use to find my house showing the route of Imogen from Shakespeares play cymbeline. I like this one because it shows islands in the Irish sea that have sunk Atlantis style

As a kid I had a globe AND a World Atlas. Some of the countries have changed since then but the continents are still the same, so I pretty much go by memory now. I did have to look up the Straits of Hormuz recently.

I look at maps every day, I have many Geography books.
