Trending & News Typically, I use a credit card for purchases in a store and most online purchases. Unless making a very large purchase, such as precious metals or a car, you don't get a discount when paying by check or cash, nor do you pay extra if using a credit card. In fact, for most purchase with a credit card, you get a small rebate. In effect that make using a credit card less expensive. Moreover, it is a bit more convenient because you don't have to count out cash and receive change is bills and coins.

My wife and I mostly use cash in person for smaller items like groceries and restaurants.
I pay most of my monthly bills with check but have a few set up for auto-pay from my bank account.
My wife has a Costco account and we use the cash back credit cards for gas, sometimes restaurants and other things. We pay that off every month so as to not have any interest payments.
I have a credit card with a 0.99% (1%) interest rate that I use for on-line purchases and sometimes other things. I do owe a balance on that but don't worry about it because of the minuscule interest rate.
I never use my ATM card to pay for anything.
I refuse to have any point of sale or digital wallet apps on my phone.
So , in Australia " tap an go " which is actually a CC rarely cash.( Physical card )
In Thailand , I use cash after taking out at ATM.
But even in Thailand I note , very many scan the QR and pay that way , in the movies here.
No cash , and I also had that in a food court in Bangkok.
Had the run back get 2nd phone and hotspot , I'm glad there is still cash here , I hardly touched it in 9 months in Australia.
Also TEMU app , I'm kinda addicted to the " personalisation " stuff , that's like an auto pay , comes straight out.
I note C card could also be physical or virtual of course , never used Apple pay ( never would ) or Google pay.
Instead of paying cash at the time, use a credit card. Pu the money in a high interest account.
Live off the card for best part of 2 months. Put cash in high interesr account. Pay card off when you have to so you pay no interest. You continuously make money for using a credit card.
I pay most things with my phone (NFC), and on occasion with my card. Rarely use cash. A lot of things are ordered via Internet which is done via card saved electronically.
The vast majority of my spending is business expenses, and must be tracked
Nobody uses cash here. The number of ATMs/cash machines has fallen 30% in a decade. Regulations have just been introduced banning interchange fees on card transactions. So that will be the final nail in the cash coffin.
Strangely... the number of large denomination bills in circulation continues to rise even though nobody uses them in the legitimate economy...
Groceries = cash
purchases above 500 PLN = card
bills = online banking
online orders = blik (national paypal here)
Credit card for most purchases. Debit card for small stuff. Online, I use services like PayPal, Google Pay and Shop.
If you don't use cash , your are giving up your privacy and freedom. They can spy on you with other methods. They also over charge you with those methods. if something is a dollar , I pay a dollar and tax. Other methods there are fees , taxes , and extra charges.
Debit card. I've never had a credit card in my life. Always paid eftpos, debit or cash
Credit. Pay it off every month so i do not get charged interest... but I accumulate points for air travel.
Debit card. I don't support borrowing money like a credit card... and I love telling bums I don't carry money when they ask for change.
"I haven't handled cash for like 20 years bro"
Cash and CC.
we put large items like airline tickets… pay off and earn points… so no debts
Cash! Because cash is king. Especially so in the strip club! :-D :-D
Oddly, one of the most common options isn't there lol: Debit card !
Credit card all the way, and then fly business class for the trips wit those points.
Debit used for immediate payment, not credit.
Well we call it paywave in NZ but I also use cash from time to time
If I have it I prefer using cash. If not credit.
All of my tips are cash 💰 💃
Cash. The only thing I use a credit card for is gas.
Rewards credit card that I pay off at least twice per month. I get the rewards and have never paid any interest or fees.
Mostly with plastic. We do have cash for thing that is cheaper with cash. Around here, there is a 5-10 cent discount on gas using cash.
Meant to say other payment method
