The first one is a praying mantis. They won't attack you.
I would get up, block it with my hand to keep it from walking up my arm, or let it walk from one hand to the other, then walk outside and brush it off. Don't move too quickly or be rough or it will take flight and you'll have to catch it in a jar once it lands again
They are good at eating bugs.
The second one looks like a wolf spider. They look large and scary but are actually docile and don't bite people. They eat bugs, too. And they don't spin webs.
With that, I would cover it gently with my hand to keep it from jumping off and sort of cup it without pressing down. Walk outside and shake it off.
The last time I had a wolf spider in the house, it was in my sink and couldn't get out. I put my hand beneath it when it was trying to climb up the side of the sink and encourage it to get in my hand. It actually perched calmly on my finger and I took it outside.
The only bugs I squish are small, skittery ones that will get loose in the house.
Knock it off my arm sideways Whatever you do No Decision don’t slap down because then it might bite you putting all that pressure into your arm from the slap. Never slap down, always brush it off sideways with your hands. Now that I’ve trained you, you know what to do
That was good information.
That looks like a praying mantis. They are gentle … no need to jump. Gently bring back to its environment.
I like all kinds of bugs… they are more scare of us.
That is true, even for poisonous spiders.
Yes and snakes 🐍 too

I think it's only creepy if it lands on your arm or neck totally unexpected. But bugs don't scare me. Nor do spiders. I'm the one who gets them out of the house with a bit of paper, cardboard or a plastic cup and sets them free where they belong.
Insects are disgusting aliens, except for bees, ants & ladybirds.
Spiders are cool because they protect your house from the bugboi's. Spiders also have a very interesting evolutionary history too. I heavily dislike those daddy long legs with the thin legs though. Daddy long leg spiders in Sweden are named Lockespindlers 🔐 associated with the god Loki and his bet. Likely because spiders are associated with fate, witchcraft and destiny whereas the warlock ensnares & traps fate just like Daddy long legs do to other spiders when eating them.
Being honest I'd probably accidentally kill both.
Pray mantis aren't scary in the slightest. And spiders wouldn't be either if I knew none of them were venomous. It's the same reason I find snakes a little scary. Because I'm not sure which ones have venom and which don't. If all they could do it bite me and have it hurt a bit, I'd walk around feeling invincible.
In most cases, I would pick it up and remove it. I would redirect a spider or a bee. If it were a wasp, I would stay very still, and it would fly away. If a scorpion, I would look for an opportunity to flick it off.
Remain calm and all will be well. That mantid is harmless, and spidy there doesn't freak out unless you do. We used to handle "wild" tarantulas all the time. The girls up front would wear them in their hair while working the counter.
The mantis is no big deal to me... but I don't fuck around with spiders... unless it's a jumping spider, I think they're cute and they are my friends.
I'd jump high enough, I'm not really fond of these creatures
😅😅😅
I've had spiders on me before... so I just help them to a better place, lol
but I think they were "fake widows" and not one of those beauties... lmao
Anything crawling up my arm would freak me the fuck out. At least the first one is pretty to look at.
Also, spider bites are painful AF.
I would probably scream and run away 😭 I’m really afraid of bugs!
I bet they are more afraid of you. I bet most will run from you instead of towards you screaming "Charge!"
Isn’t that the kind where the girl rips the head after the boy when they mate?
Only 30% are into that shit.
@Wodens_Apprentice 30% of insects or people? lol
Just the insects I hope
So you don't want a praying mantis as a boyfriend!
@nodecision 💀💀💀
Those are badass little angels is what they are of the dinosaur age that they are badass Fighters they won't hurt you
When I was a kid mantis used to terrify me for some odd reason.
Most insects are fine but this one just looks like it’s always on the hunt
Place it in its natural environment like I have done so in the past
Well said I totally agree with you
The first one im cool with. I'll probably watch it for a bit and then gently release it into nature. The second one I'll immediately flick off and stomp.
If it's a prey mantis I'm ok with that I like those.
If it's a spider I'm having a heart attack.
Really high! But I think the first one is a harmless insect
If he crawl in my arms i jump or maybe tried to capture it y after thah i have as pet
1st one is harmless despite its wild looking but I’m not sure about the 2nd one lol
I think the 2nd is a brown recluse, or "violin spider".
Depends if I was surprised or not, If I was, flick it off me.
Praying Mantis' are cool! The second guy I'd just off onto a bush or something.
have a heart attack
Just move it to a bush or ignore it
The first one is okay but the second one is creepy
I don’t cuddle with spiders
Mantis is ok. No spiders tho.
Nothing. It’s just a harmless mantis
Nothing, will not harm me
SMACK
The spider be dead.
But a spider as creepy as it may look is your friend they kill the bugs that will harm us
Swat it away
