Do Some Of The Members On Here Seem To Be More Uptight Than Usual?

Today I felt like I had just come out of a war zone after reading my notifications. Man!
And even people who you think are your friends on here can turn on you and attack your intelligence if you defend yourself from what they are saying. It's all right I can take it. It just made him appear to be more immature than he usually is.
I don't like coming on here and reading confrontation after confrontation that is unnerving.
I realize that we debate here, and that's cool, but it was more like a war zone this morning.🤔 Why?

There are quite a few people on here that are very sensitive unfortunately and some of them live on drama and also can’t help but argue

When a close member to me does such things, i don't reply back sometimes, but it depends on the situation, sometimes i confront them or send them a private message to set things straight again or i might just end up blocking them...

I give chances but i have my limits, when it's done, it's done!

I guess I wasn't very clear in the way I asked my question.

I'm not talking to them. I am reading about all of the deep, heavy conversations from certain people.
But lately there just seems to be questions asked that are provoking members to have a difference of opinions and then it turns into a back and forth scenario.
I understand why we are here, I'm not new to this site, and we can say whatever we want to each other.

Maybe some people really like to drive their point home, and it just seems like it's not usually this way. Just recently.
