MISFIT: A person whose behavior or attitude sets them apart from others in an uncomfortably conspicuous way.  It could be by dressing style, which is a also a part of their personality.

Now misfit is a trend right now, and people think having tats, holes, and colorful hair qualifies, but then bitch out when it's time to steal, beat some ass, push a cop to get a head start running, tag some shit, shoot someone's car/house/friend's car/friend's house/mom's car/mom's house/ possibly work place, temporarily kidnap their kid to help win a custody battle, tell your boss/coworkers to FUCK OFF - and still keep your job cuz you a boss like that - jump some people, crowbar some windows, pick up a couple ibs of coke, deliver dope to the border, try EVERY DRUG AT LEAST ONCE, steal a car and hustle men and women for money.

Tattoos and holes are for the pain, not the look, and the colored hair is a manifestation of our wickedness - not because "its pretty."

We have other lives, aliases that few no about and our reputations have nothing to do with "looking cool."

Every misfit has their signature, be it theft, extortion, violence, anarchist, occult, etc.

That's what we known for.

We're generally nice, welcoming people, it's just the kosher people have to know what they're getting themselves into beforehand.

You dont choose to be misfit, you're just born into it or not. Growing up poor, it was a good way to survive on the streets. Most of us share a dysfunctional background, so doing deviant things doesn't cause fear or regret. It feels natural to steal and fight - going to jail or getting arrested isn't bad at all. Just fuckin expensive lol

To us, everyone else are the odd ones out, since they conform to molds crippling themselves and all peoples. They seem blind and scared, or ignorant to all the fucked up shit around them.

Settling for stale bread, when they should have the finest cut choices of meat ~

Yes I’m often a misfit. I like to dress either exceptionally plain or very “emo”. Again with my make up and hair I prefer a more extreme look.

In terms of my personality, I’m very approachable and friendly but I do not suffer fools gladly and I will call people out. I’ve grown up in a very unusual household (2 autistic people, a criminal, a severely mentally unhinged and abusive person and a loveable lunatic). So I tend to be straight to the point but a touch emotional. I don’t like to be micromanaged which so far my employees have all loved to do and I hate it.

Here on G@G, I am a misfit because I tick 180 degrees on the opposed of what 99% here believe.

I am a person that does not care for sex or intimate relations. When I come up with my arguments against the opinions of the majority, I get to feel the reactions of those that disagree with me.

Society places way too much importance on those relations that poison life with unnecessary problems. I am single and have none of the problems that those asking here have.

I love my solitude and would not trade it for all the gold in the world.

BINGO! Could not have said it better myself! In general, that is the kind of people I most often meet and connects with- in most aspects of human interaction. I love people that sticks out a little, the ones with the quirks who might be a little crazy and alternative :)

I've always been an outcast among outcasts. I have a coue close friends but I use "close" loosely. It doesn't help that people find me intimidating due to being unnaturally tall for a 16 year old and am still growing, (6'4 or 6'5), I'm also brutally honest and have a large presence, and I usually banter with my teachers, and keep my hair long. On the flip side, now in High School I've become the unofficial leader of outcasts since other misfits come to me whenever there's a problem. So I think things could be worse.

I think option B is a very good description of my feelings - I don't know what it is but I walk in a room and I see 90% of the people look exactly the same so I am drawn to the 10% to want to know their backstory. In a lot of cases they can be straight away very interesting just seeing/hearing a different outlook on life other times you can get the feeling this is a front and you want to see the real person underneath sometimes it is fascinating.
OKAY as with all groups some are amazing to get to know and others you just don't get on with.

I have always been an outsider. I was not popular in school. Many times I fought the popular kids because they were bullying others. I got along better with misfits, even if I did not agree with some of them. As an adult, I joined the military. Military members are technically misfits because of the way we are taught to think, which is why it is so hard for us to adjust to civilian life, especially the ones of us who joined straight out of high school or who spent many years in the service. As a veteran I see many things most people are not aware of because they do not pay attention, and this affects how I interact with others. I'm more blunt than what our society likes so I get left out of a lot of things even now. I am attracted to other misfits if we happen to share the same morals. I do not get along well with the status quo very well, even though I'd give my life to protect them so they can live the life they choose.

I'm not sure if you'd consider this a gift or a curse, but my behavior could have been described as mature and disciplined as early as middle school, which in and of itself has made me a misfit - while most of my peers wanted to party, I was interested in going down to the model railroad club where there were only a couple of guys close to my age and the rest were old enough to be either my father or grandfather.

I digress. Now that I'm 10 years out of HS, some of my peers are catching up with me and I'm not feeling like as much of a misfit as I used to be.

I "pass" as an average human being but Inside… I've just learn how to look normal and make people like me, find me charismatic and charming. It works as long as they know me from afar. There's actually a couple of people I know that could be called "misfits", due to how they dress, occasionally act, and/or what they're into. I actually get along with them better than "normal" people, since I'm not normal myself lol. The people outcasted are usually more accepting than the people with the inside crowd, and usually are also kinder people who just want to live their own lives and not be drones or robots to societal "norms". With that, I can also say I am somewhat more attracted to them as well, because of their accepting nature and the fact that I can be me, and they won't judge me. So I can be as silly, stupid, weird, or crazy as I'd wanna be, and they'd be fine with it, or better yet go along with it.
