Previously, in childhood and even in adolescence, minutes and hours dragged on longer, but now you don't have time to turn around as the day has passed. It feels like the hands of a clock are spinning like the blades of a helicopter propeller. Do you feel anything like that?

My dad used to say when your 5 a year is 1/5th of your lifetime. So how many times have you woken up in the morning, waited for water to boil, survived till your next paycheck. But when you're 30 it's only 1/30th of your life, you've experienced a year 30 times
And then he kinda started veering off challenging himself to figure how many weeks are in so many years in his head.
@quinejessica as we get old , time passes because there is not much things for us to learn and understand in the world.
for kids they try to understand every small detail and for them it passes slow.
we grown up now know how every sector and industry and world runs, so time flys
It's the most common thing in the world. As you live longer your perspective of time increases and each increment of time becomes a smaller piece of your larger perspective. Nothing has changed expect the way you perceive time.
Time is relative right? When you are 10 years old 5 years is half your life... when you are 40 its only 1/8 of your life. So relativity speaking you begin to view time differently as you age.
Not always at some point it also feels like it's slowing down. But with the new gotta have everything now it's going to seem like things are going faster because of the pace of most of the world.
I think because as adults, you have lots more stuff going on.
When you're 10, a year is 10% of your life, and a higher percentage of your conscious life. When you're 50, a year is 2% of your life.
Because you're not growing and all you do is the same stuff everyday.
And it gets even faster, just wait till you are my age
It is!! My clock runs faster too! SMH
Oh definitely at my age

Especially when your working.
Google it. It's about how perception works
