Would you trust an app to delete all of your junk emails?

I saw an advertisement for an app that will do that, but how will it know the junk from what you want to keep?

I have more than 900 useless emails that are taking up storage on my phone. I'm just afraid that this app will delete everything! 🤷🏼‍♀️

That app is just to scan your email to check your personality and favorites,
To sell that info to other agencies

I second the opinion of @exitseven. Trusting no app is a good rule of thumb, regardless of what the app says it will do.

Remember that any app is software, written by one or more error-prone humans, and not 100% tested. What would go wrong with a system like that? Well, consider frequent version updates that we all live with.

I your case, you can take your time, over time, and manually delete each junk mail l, with you deciding what is junk, or just ignore them. Unless the junk is causing storage space issues, there's no good reason to do anything about the junk.

Yes I would because you decided for yourself what messages go in the junk folder. Sometimes something can be placed there automatically but you can always check and restore messages that shouldn't have been deleted

I would not trust it. 900 emails is not much. Go through all if them and save what you want in a separate folder and empty your inbox, then take the contents imof the new folder and move it to your inbox

I'm not tech savvy at all and I don't even know how to save something to a file.

I don't have a computer, just my cellphone.😐
