yes, now he's like a brother and I have given him advice on his girlfriend and he's given me advice on my crush. I didn't plan to move on so fast, it's not like me. It's just that suddenly one day, I met someone I realised I had more in common with and liked more that didn't find me ugly; and it just snuck up on me.

I realised I've moved on because I don't think about him romantically anymore and I am actively trying to help him keep his girlfriend because I am delighted that he's found someone who brings out the best in him and makes him so happy. The jealousy is gone. I'm only jealous that I can't go out with the guy I like yet and everyone else in my friend group has the time.
