Do most people see Accountants as boring, serious, intimidating?

It's a job. My mom's an accountant and she's definitely not passionate about it. Life just took her that way as it did for most people that took that route. I don't think anyone grows up saying "I want to be an accountant, looking at and organizing numbers all day long."

That being said, I do tend to associate that life choice with being less thoughtful about what you want in life and being more practical and realistic.

But I would never say no to dating a girl just because they're an accountant, nor would I assume they are boring.

but he's far from boring, he can be serious yes... but most of the time he isn't, just like yours truly

I worked in a CPA firm for a couple of years and it was very stressful working with them and mostly their staff. Both the accounts and administrative staff.

It was not a fun place to work, that's for sure.

These people wouldn't answer their phones and talk to their clients which made the clients mad.

There was jealousy and rivriary between the Principal's which made one of them quit working there after 15 years of her working her butt off.

For some reason almost all of the employees (about 30) were mean people!!

The job itself seems boring and serious. I don't know that I'd find someone crunching numbers intimidating, at least not because of their job... maybe if they were intimidating otherwise, but they don't tend to be...

If you are good, it is still a path into senior management, business consulting and finance, often with an accompanying MBA.

If not, most of the work has gone digital or to India. So it's just a generic degree that mainly shows you have the sustained determination to finish a degree.

Not even I know some accountants that are like librarians they are sexy they are hot they're smarter than smart they are wise and they're just like normal people They get horny too some are a little bit more open about it so I'm a little bit more quiet about it but they're just like everybody else in the world except for smarters LOL

I have a degree in accounting and I definitely did not want to sit for the CPA exam and become and accountant. It looked pretty boring to me.

I'm not really a math guy so it doesn't really appeal to me personally I find math in general to be fairly boring.  Obviously it's an important job though.

All of the above, but mainly as boring. Because numbers, figures, math, etc. is a big snooze. Nothing says nap time like an excel spreadsheet.
