What was the worst day of your life?

The worst day of my life was 3/3/24, twice going into cardiac arrest, as a result of a widow maker heart attack.

I begged my wife for help, but she just stood and stared at me.
She was unable to process what was happening to me.
I was finally able to dial 911 myself after many tries.

Unknown to either of us at the time, she was diagnosed a few weeks later with glioblastoma brain cancer, to which she succumbed earlier this year.

No, on second thought, 3/3/24 was not my worst day.
Every day since then has been worse and worse.

The day my father passed away. The night before I dreamt him. He took me to a window and opened it while holding my hand. I was so blinded by the light that I forgot he was by my side. When I turned around he was gone. That same morning we received the call he had died. I shed all but one tear.

AActually, I have a lot of bad memories, but the one that affected me the most was the argument I had with my father. I still hate him, and my anger towards him grows every day. I'm planning to move out of my own home soon. It will last a maximum of two years, but that's perfectly fine; I'll be free from being under his control.
