If you don't think the other person is the right one for you, then I don't think it's love. It could be attraction, admiration, a passing fancy, a desire to possess, or even an obsession. When you truly love someone, you always see them as the right person.

Relationships are so complicated that it is a wonder that humans have not been extinct centuries ago. Getting two separate people with all their fears, faults and abnormalities to somehow co exist with another person.

Absolutely. My ex, who is also still one of my best friends to this day, I love deeply. We just didn't make a couple that would be compatible long-term.
