Is it too late to salvage my summer or should I just accept it’s over?

i feel like summer is nearly over but maybe there is still time for more , not really sure what i've accompolished so far , guess its been ok under the circumstances of high gas prices and various car problems which have made it difficult to go to certain places

its raining today so not sure what the options are , did talk to a girl i liked yesterday , had seen her around before but we had never talked she's working at a restaurant that i go to but lives in another town, she won't be here in fall so options seem limited to take things anywhere with her

i know still have some hope for a strong end of summer and perhaps more good memories but budget will be really low unless i can come up with some extra cash soon

Lots of free fun things to do man! Go on a bike ride along the beach if you're close to one. Climb some trees. Watch a sunset while eating your dinner. Go on a hike. Swim in lake.

definitely trying to think of stuff i could do that does not involve spending a lot of money like going to parks or swimming , not going to be buying any concert tickets , is one this weekend a large country festival , its 3 days , if you want to go just for Saturday its like $250 but parking is another $65 , yes they want $65 just to park for a couple hours in a field , sounds crazy to me but thats the price

i know and there parking is run by volunteers so who is getting this $ money and why? if there not even paying them

also been dealing with endless car troubles , had this oil leak in the spring into early summer though it was fixed in June but found out this week ( when car broke down on Monday ) that garage had not changed the spark plugs or coils that had been ruined by oil leak , also suspect i've lost a lot of money due to poor gas mileage from those bad spark plugs

it got fixed on Tuesday so driving around today and seems to be using less gas so do think it cost be a lot of money which i could really not afford to lose as budget so low

it was repaired but felt it was still running a bit off , going to check tire pressure tomorrow to verify its correct as that might be why

this weekend also often very slow as a lot of restaurant staff and young people go to that concert there is often nothing to do really this weekend

but is still other things to do so will see

i know but budget is low so won't be able to do a lot unless i can come up with more $

usually go out on the weekend , saturdays been busy here lately , sometimes tough to even find a parking spot in some places
