Alice in Wonderland. When Alice is lost in the dark forest, she asks the Cheshire Cat which way to go. The cat responds, "That depends where you want to end up." Alice exclaims, "It doesn't much matter where!" So the Cat smiles and says, "Then it doesn't matter which way you go."

The point being that if you aren't sure what to do, just do *something.* If you're lost, go forward. The important thing is you won't be exactly where you are now. So that's what I do. Sometimes it works out. Sometimes it doesn't. But that's life.

Risk tolerance. The acceptance of the reality that I may get it wrong. But doing nothing or something too late means certain failure. I've said this before. I don't require perfection to act. I can live with a 75% solution. In dire circumstances and a high stakes situation, I can live with a 60% solution as a temporary fix. And sometimes doing nothing IS the right answer. I've never been afraid to roll the dice.

I let it be… I complain some to my gag friends 😆 they know who they are. Since then, we have found mates and are in much better places.
sometimes we just kinda have to let life be. Don’t doubt too much… let it be.

Most of the time, you don't need to make decisions quickly. So I will ruminate and logically analyse and the put decision to the side for a while. I put it on the back burner.

When I revisit I find I have made a good decision on the back burner (which is the unconscious mind).

Prayer, talking with my wife or close friend, and thinking about what I've done (or not done) in similar situations in the past, looking at the fruits of those decisions, and making a prudent decision.
