How can I prove my roommate or housemate stole my identity?

There are certain things like DNA, looks, your passport, birth certificate, nationality certificate.
Awards and pictures of getting those award (they aren't law binding but good supporting documents)
Anything with your name and pictures made by government is a something they have to take as proof.

Also get into a small car incident like speeding or honking in silence zone. That will give you a real law abiding document with your face and fingers printed with list of documents like your driving licence.
Which you can use to prove who you are.

Go to the places that you think she did it at see if there's cameras see if there's signatures all retail stores have cameras by the cash registers you're just going to have to be patient and try everything you can think of

[fantasticass]

Go to the police department and file a report. Then go apply for new ID. Hide your new ID so it doesn't get stolen

[Nikki1989]

You need objective evidence that links them to fraudulent activity.

[SamIam96]

Why do you think your identity was stolen and why do you think your roommate or housemate did it? Do you have evidence? Did you see or hear something?

[Billlewis]

You'd need to be able to produce a document (paper or electronic) or other piece of hard evidence that confirms it.

[NathanDavis]

provide both identities to the competent authorities...

[WhitneySnow]

Go to the police and show them something that proves you’re you

[Alex-Snow]

In what way did it happen? Have you talked to him/her about it?

[Anonymous]

If you are sure, then you have seen something concrete to know they did, so just show that to someone?

[Brady]

Ask the police, tell them what happened and maybe they can tell you.

[Anonymous]

Why would your roommate or housemate steal your identity? What could they possibly do with it?

[DishLady]
