Somewhat, yes. I've told the story on here about a iconic place where I live. It even appears in a super popular TV series. Basically, it is a rock cliff and the lake is below it.

It is a somewhat right of passage to jump off it if you are from around here. Even tourists do it. Anyhow, it took me until my senior year to take the plunge. I probably stalled close to an hour before jumping.

I manage it but generally not putting myself in positions that height is an issue.

I don’t fear heights, but i do get vertigo in some scenarios. Usually if there is no guardrail or something else for me to hold onto. Sometimes even if i do have a handle, i get pretty woozy. It’s almost always associated with looking straight down too. I actually like elevated views. Looking out over a city from the top of a building. Looking out over the valley from the top of a mountain. Looking out over the countryside from an airplane or hot air balloon. It’s beautiful and exhilarating! But looking straight down sometimes f*cks with my head. I have some great pics and videos from the tippy top of a drawbridge i was working on.
Years ago i tried skydiving to get a grip on what i mistook for a fear of heights. It was amazing! But i still got vertigo and i still do.
As an electrician, i frequently have to work at dangerous heights. I just focus on my task and i don’t look down if i don’t have to.
