They're so common in Califorina. I'm thinking of this for a house design. I see it as luxurious and modern but also I think of something trivial when I see it sometimes. So I get "mexed" feelings about it.

It is a beautiful home but if you live in California, my priority would be making sure the house is fire proof, meaning, it is coated in flame resistant material everywhere with heavily populated automatic sprinklers and waterspouts if a fire does happen that activates heat sensors in the home. I would also research a secondary water source for liquid infusion in times of drought.
