I’d say so. Physically, anyway. I haven’t had to duck any bullets coming my way, or had to run into any burning buildings, so I’m not S-tier; but I’m not afraid to throw myself in harm’s way. I ran into a river to save my ex-girlfriend’s little sister from drowning, not being that strong of a swimmer myself. So I can answer the bell in a crisis, I guess.

In my hockey leagues, one of the things I’m most known for is blocking shots. That shit HURTS, if it misses your pads. Usually leaves you with a huge contusion, it can break a bone, and if you take one in the throat, you might be dead. Someone in one of my leagues took a shot to the junk, while wearing a cup, and he almost lost a ball. I should probably develop some fear of pucks, but I don’t, haha.

This one bruised me through the pads, and I’m pretty sure it bruised my lung; I was getting a sharp pain in that spot on a sharp inhale for like 10 days afterwards.

This guy here has the hardest shot in that league. He said “You’re a fuckin’ psycho, Steve” right afterwards, and you can see my head turn back when I replied “YUP!”, lmao. My heart was filled with pride over that one😝

This one went up my pant leg, lmfao. Game had to stop while I found it and shook it out😂

Put me on a ladder over the fifth rung though, and my knees will turn to Jell-O😱😅🤣

In the will do things that many consider scary, brave or heroic? Sure, more than most.

It's highly dependent on the situation. Bravery is an evolutionary preference for fight over flight. Never start a fight that you can't win.

brave to make some risky decisions, making changes in life when others don’t - yes!
