Contrary to popular myth, Halloween is the most wonderful time of year!
For me it’s more about the scares, which are closer to tricks than treats, i suppose. But i do find a good scare to be a treat! Ell oh ell!

The treats are scary movies streaming, on TV et al! Some are hilariously bad like "Crawl" (hurricane + alligator attacks in Florida), the best of Final Destrination movies, Nos 1, 3 and The Final Destination are really fun, the old scary ones, several "The Mummy"s, Hammer's, Karloff's, the 199X version... all pretty scary. The Frankenstein films from early to more recent: a lot of variety, as well as the Draculas early to recent.

AND adult costume parties. Giving out candy to the kids is fun too! Decorating house!

It's supposed to be about treats, it's essentially a harvest festival mixed with remembrance of the deceased. The scary stuff is mostly for fun.
