What gives you the ick?

[tiredpanda]

For anyone unfamiliar with the term, an ick is something someone says or does that instantly puts you off them, even if you were initially interested in them. It can be completely random or irrational. 😂

[Circushowcowboy]

General rudeness or treating people poorly

[tiredpanda]

Agreed! There's really no excuse for that.

[Still-alive]

not showing empathy

[tiredpanda]

Agreed! A lack of empathy is a huge turn-off.

[Still-alive]

Yup its vital for me!

Another one i have is if they aren't so forthcoming if they have an issue and instead get passive aggressive about it. it would show they aren't effective at communicating and may even reveal immaturity on their part. so a big ick for me.

[tiredpanda]

Agreed! Open and honest communication is key to resolving issues. Passive-aggressive behaviour is just annoying.

[7Phoenix7]

I don’t like when men have a very negative perception of women. Especially the ones who constantly generalize women based on their own bad experiences. That bitterness and resentment is a turnoff to me…

I really appreciate a man who can still be kind, gentle, and open hearted regardless of what he’s been through.

[tiredpanda]

I second all of this! 👏

[queenofcardio]

Yes 👏

[RingOfFire]

Ha!

Figures! ... Women are always sticking together to hate on men who have a negative perception of women!

(It's a joke 😀)

[OneViewpoint]

• Well if she suddenly goes dumpster diving at Taco Bell I may get the ick.
• If she washes and recycles her tampons I may get the ick.
• If she waxes poetic about her former stage act with a donkey I may get the ick.
• If she tells me she dates MAGA guys I'll definitely get the ick.

[tiredpanda]

I have so many questions, and I'm not sure I want the answers. 😂

[HighValue]

Women with a promiscuous past, have tattoos, a nose ring (one of the grossest things she can have and constantly just makes me think of boogers stuck on it), dressing like the gym wh0r3$, anyone that is still friends with an ex, has kids from their past relationships, has done drugs, drinks lots of alcohol, smokes, is hypocritical and unfair in a relationship, or if they are not willing to not have a smartphone in a relationship. ALL of those things are VERY bad qualities in a potential partner. And of course any woman that stays friends with anyone that is a cheater (most women stay friends with and are supportive of their cheater friends.)

[Anonymous]

Lots of stuff. But if i focused on the negatives i'd never want to date any woman, and i want to date few enough as is. I try to focus on the positives (while being mindful of the dealbreakers). When you get to my age people have seen and done some💩. You have to be mindful of that and determine whether she's decent human being.

[Rei13]

If they can’t control their anger or get upset over minor things

[RavVid]

Well I'm a guy and I get the yucks. Works much the same. She says something and you immediately think yuck... she'll be a cesspit.

[Chazmatazz269]

I’m here to support “yuck” for boys where “ick” is used for women.

[RavVid]

@Chazmatazz269 Thank you for the support of the yuck concept :)

[Nikki1989]

Texting.

[MrChinaski]

People that are too scared to make decisions in their own interests.

[FreyaRed]

When someone has the smell of alcohol at 10 AM and it's not an after hour party.

[Chazmatazz269]

You think you’re better than me?

[NathanDavis]

when they're rude to other people...

also, supremacist tattoos... lol

[Pedromanx2]

Ick? If they negative

Or they make weird noises.

Or spit in my mouth.

[thegreenyogi]

If he's more focused on looking at his phone than talking to me no go.

[slatyb]

Smoking, lack of consideration for others, tanning.

[queenofcardio]

Overly dramatic people 🙄

[tiredpanda]

Oh, yes 😆

[queenofcardio]

It depends though, sometimes they're funny but then I also have my moments so 😂

[tiredpanda]

I'm fine with playful, mock dramatic people hahah. But those who are genuinely dramatic all the time and turn everything into actual drama? Eeeh 🥴 No thank you

[queenofcardio]

Yes , exactly what I was thinking. Some people need to chill 😂

[tiredpanda]

Oh, for sure 😂

[RingOfFire]

You callin' me overly dramatic? What the *******! Who do you think you are!!! It's always the same ones! URRRRRRR!!!

And there you women go again being all agreeable with each other!!!

[Chazmatazz269]

WHAT DAFUQ DO YOU MEAN BY “OVERLY DRAMATIC PEOPLE”?
Just because i scream about EVERYTHING, that doesn’t mean i’m wrong!!!

[MitTHRAWNuruodo000]
