Do old feelings stir up when you meet with your ex bf/gf?

After about one or two months since the breakup, when you meet up with them, laugh, and have a good time, do old feelings come up? What causes old feelings to come up?

Memories causes to bring up old feelings, but bad feelings can come up too. Depends on the individual if they chose to see you pessimistically or positively. It's usually the latter unless you broke up with him.

Depending on the attraction and closure you could get back together despite old memories. What allures people are the proof that new memories are worth to experience. You should research articles that talk about how to get your ex back since that's your main reason for this question I noticed reading your responses.

I've had ex's who still want me to be in their life but not in a relationship years after because I was fun to be around, however I dislike going back to ex's. I personally know that my friendship will never be the same and only I would be burdened by the break up. I don't put up facade's for anyone, and if I have to, I avoid them like the plague. That's just me though and only if they broke up with me.

Not for me. I got an intense feeling of fear/distaste. However, our relationship ended because he physically assaulted me so that may have been why. However, I fought him off so it's not like I was totally helpless. I ended up with a bloody lip and a black eye and he ended up with a broken nose.

So I don't feel anything when I see him now. But in most normal relationships, I would imagine that yes, one would feel those feelings.

You have gorgeous eyes. Yeah, old feelings always stir up. I avoid that now by having asked her not to email me or contact anymore. She made her choice, there's no point in me suffering longer than I have to. I also avoid looking at her pics or looking her up on fb and such.

I say yes. The feelings of closeness, familiarity, and intimacy doesn't fail to show up, however it doesn't make me feel romantically involved with her again.

Nothing. It's either there or it isn't. If he doesn't have the spark anymore then there is seriously no way to force it without seriously leaving yourself vulnerable to being taken advantage of. I'm sorry to say, but sometimes it's better to move on. I've been in your same position and it can be heartbreaking. It's far better to have loved and lost than never loved at all. To be honest I hate that statement, but there is great truth to it. Good luck.
