Why do guys get bored and use girls who have got their act together?

I have a lot to offer someone yet they do not see it. Lately guys who I date only seem to have one thing on their mind.

You would think that this would change when you get older but it does not.

Just sick of meeting these types if guys. No one seems to be legit these days.

there are a lot and they get away with it because a lot of girls give it up easy. if a girl wants casual sex only fine (though it ruins it for girls who want relationships)

but a lot of girls are quite honestly stupid or thoughtless and they jump into bed with a guy they just started dating before they have established a relationship and then they bitch about how guys just want sex. well, you should value your body and yourself and if you want a relationship a smart girl will wait until she is in one. and if a guy truly cares about you he will wait until you are dating exclusively to have sex if that's what you want. maybe that's old fashioned but almost any honest guy will say they prefer girls who respect themselves and don't sleep around and if they actually like the girl and don't just want sex they will wait until they are exclusive if that's what she wants. otherwise his primary reason for liking you was just the sex alone.

i almost fell into that trap once but I didn't. the guy told me he wants to have sex before the relationship etc but I had a feeling there would never be a relationship. guys do lie and pull sh*t but bottom line is a girl has to be careful and don't buy into his "sex before relationship" crap because if he liked you enough he would know that sex will happen in the relationship. if he doesn't commit he just doesn't like you that much.

bottom line don't have sex before a relationship and you have to be assertive and after a few dates ask where this is going before you jump into bed with him. you may lose some guys this way but if they just want sex it happens within a few dates so it's not like you will have invested months of your time. and you will feel better about yourself.

If you don't want casual, then don't give them any until you have abetter idea of what they want...

i.e; don't sleep with them then find out that's what they want after... hold out until you have a sense of where theyre at

You're going to meet these types of guys forever, because every guy on the planet wants sex. And preferably they want it easily, and with no strings attached.

It's the females responsibility to set the price for it. The kind of girls that always have bf's, they typically set the price for sex to be in a monogamous relationship. The only way the guy gets what he wants, is when she gets what she wants (a commitment).

In my opinion, this is the best price to set. Because if a guy isn't willing to call you his girlfriend before you've had sex with him, he;s Way less likely to want to calll you his girlfriend after he has.

You can go around blaming guys for being wrong as long as you want. But it will never change anything. Guys are going to treat girls however they demand to be treated. The only thing you have control of, is your own boundaries and the respect you demand.

What do you mean by your "act together"? Your own place and money? While that's good, there might be other things that he'll want: like a warm personality or someone who will isn't to be overbearing.

Also, where are you meeting these guys? Clubs & bars, or more relaxed settings where the influence of alcohol and worry of looking your absolute best isn't a factor?

Almost everyone wants to have sex, but a lot of people don't want a relationship. It sound like these guys aren't straight forward about what they want and deceive you.

A lot of guys (especially the ones I meet) don't want a relationship! Roll eyes. I remember the last guy I dated. Who still continued to pursue me even though I mentioned to him I did not want casual, only to dump me a month and a half later. Telling me he did not want a relationship. Why keep it going a month and a half later after I told him I did not want casual?

Guys like that really anger me and now I feel like I can not trust any guy at all now because of this.

Just wish I did not put up with so much crap when I was younger with guys. I don't anymore. But least I am stronger now to walk away when it is something I do not want. That only lasted two and a half months. But it still hurt because I assumed because he did not say upfront that he did not want a relationship that he was interested in something more when he was not.

Just do not want to get into that situation again. Felt like kicking myself afterwards.

Well either he found out through dating you that he didn't want relationship or he just wanted the sex so he didn't mention the not into relationship part.
