My partner calls me a bitch when he is drunk. First it was only cause he got mad , now .now .I hear a lot more and its kind of disturbing.. if he doesn't like something or the other night I put some sensual oil on him and he didn't like Because of the scent ,he didn't want to be labeled as gay Because he smelled like roses. I got up quickly washed it off and I heard him call me bitch again.. only drunk never sober.. When he is sober he is different.. I think deep down does he really feel that way.. I am not a jerk or anythin but still its hurtful.. I told him I don't like it.. he doesn't remember or he says sorry he didn't mean it..I don't know.

my boyfriend was like that before we got together, he quit right as we got together lol, but he drank a lot one day in a party with all our friends and he.. kinda lost it.. he called me his ex's name and called me a lot of bad things, pulled my hair across the room and tried to choke me, he only realized what was happening after his best friend punched him and saw me crying my eyes out in shock while gasping for air, I have androphobia(its at a stage where if I'm with guys I know and trust I'm OK, but strangers trigger it) so it took a toll on my trust in him (but its back to normal now lol! no worries :D), so he swore never to drink and told his friend to take him down if he ever does, (hes had a really really bad experience with his ex that made him completely rethink everything so I really can't blame him, but he's usually the one who keeps me from having an episode whenever my phobia triggers, so choking me like that was terrifying, he had such murderous intent bearing at me that it felt as if I really couldve died, he said sry for months since then but I forgave him almost immediately, never ever had a drink since, it happened when I was 16 he was 17) he's usually really kind, caring and open actually listens to what I say even if its boring or embarassing to him or us so yeah lol

so I can't deny that it might be your bfs true personality, but it could also be an alternate personality, it could be anything really, the best thing to do is to make him sit down one day and tell him every single detail of what is happening while he's drunk, try to express your feelings at the time of incident, if possible get a witness like his friend/best friend to confirm it, an then ask him to promise never to drink again, my boyfriend drinks mt. dew or 7up(pepsi products) with his friends when theyre out (I can smell it in his breath lol), so even if its a manliness issue it can be avoided, the manliness or "tough enough" mentality is hype, just a way for beer and cigarette companies to make money, its all in the head, many guys have grown out of it but many still believe that they have to prove something when they don't have to prove anything

Well your partner has a drinking problem sometimes when people are drunk they get mean a disrespectful like that. For an example My ex had a bad drinking problem he had drunk a whole big bottle of whisky when we were down at the beach. And we went to dog fish head and I was completely mortified by his actions he called me a bitch in front of everyone and then said loud bitch buy me a drink! I never wanted to go back to that place ever again he end up saying sorry then started acting like that again when we got on the beach. I say break up with him or try talking to him when he is sober about it if that doesn't work get out of the relationship.

well if you believe the idea that being drunk lowers our inhibitions then you should assume that calling girls b*tches is something he does but curbs when he sober since he's knows it's not right.

I think you should just tell him when he's sober what he's doing, how it's hurtful and how you won't stand for it. Either he curbs his drinking, changes his behavior when he's drunk, or you break up with him

There is absolutely no reason drunk or not that you should have to put up with this behavior
