Not all guys have the same preferences, but in general, unexpected drunk calls can be seen as disruptive or inappropriate. It's important to maintain respectful communication and boundaries in any relationship. If you want to reach out to someone, it's often better to do so when you're both sober and can have a meaningful conversation.

Thank you. I thought guys saw drunk calls as confirmation that a girl really likes them

Some individuals may interpret drunk calls as a sign of affection or interest, but it's not a reliable or recommended way to express your feelings. Open and honest communication when you're both sober is generally a more effective and respectful way to convey your emotions and intentions. Misunderstandings can easily arise from drunk communication, so it's best to approach serious conversations when you're in a clear state of mind.

Thank you !! This was very insightful. I am just a really shy and socially awkward person so I find it quite difficult to communicate when I’m sober so I tend to do so when I’m inebriated… cause it’s easier for me

I understand that social anxiety can make sober communication challenging. It might be helpful to work on improving your confidence and social skills over time. Remember that you're not alone in facing these challenges, and many people have successfully overcome similar hurdles.

You’ll find someone who loves the way you are and you won’t need to be drunk to have a good conversation with him

This is so true! But let’s say you miss the person and didn’t have the balls to reach out while sober so you decide to do so while drunk so you can see them. Does it look bad or? What are your thoughts?

The trouble with alcohol is that people will never stop talking and the conversations can last hours with them repeating themselves over and over again and if that happens regularly then it’s not enjoyable. I don’t drink alcohol myself or I drink rarely and little so that would become tedious for me. But hey, if I liked the girl I’d tell her to open up when she’s not drunk. You just have to be yourself. Some people won’t find you cute but some would.

Depends on how drunk she is , if she is just buzzed and can pretty much understand what we are talking about then yes her a little drunk or buzzed doesn’t bother me , if she is bombed and I can’t understand her than No , I would just laugh and tell her to get some sleep and talk to her when she is sober, I like to drink craft beer and I pretty much know how to control myself for the most part , I pretty Much know my limits , I enjoy getting buzzed because it makes me feel relaxed and happy , and not really a care in the world , Just having a good time , mainly with friends or whoever wants to join me , I also enjoy the taste of beer , if I go over my limit which does happen at times , I usually just go to bed and sleep it off , but if I am just buzzed , I am more relaxed and outgoing and enjoy conversations, so yes if she called me wanting to talk and she is just buzzed or a little drunk I would enjoy chatting with her , I would probably crack a beer and join her and talk to her for hours on the phone unless she wanted to come over and fuck than that’s even better lol

Most likely not because that title might come with connotations.

Realistic drawing of me last night.
Realistic drawing of me last night.

Also, the circumstances of the drinking might have a lot to do with if it's taken in a bad way or not. Is the whole point to get drunk? Or is he in the middle of some pissing contest to prove he can handle drinking that much? ... context matters.

Call me drunk and I'll probably just ask you if you're jealous. But I don't give a shit... I can't speak for people that do give a shit though.

Depends on who and when and what she wants.

Good scenario: cute girl I went on a few dates wants a booty call. Best time for her to call me would obviously be after 8pm and before midnight

Bad scenario: girl I’ve been dating for a while is upset about something and the liquid courage drives her to call me and speak all the nasty things on her mind. Worst time for her to call would be during the middle of work day or if I’m engaged with another activity that fully needs all my attention.

I'm sure someone does. Pretty much the opposite effect on me. Women call all the time, just sloppy drunk, and one, I don't get drunk in public and two if I'm at home and I AM drinking, I'm not sloppy drunk like you are, so we aren't vibing together, plus I was probably doing something and drunk people are hard to get off the phone without just hanging up and turning my phone off. You're drunk and you're horny, gotcha. You're also about to pass out. Get somewhere safe.

Not if a girl calls me from the club, loud music in the background, her just yelling random words etc.

In my opinion it is degenerate and unattractive.

But "normal" drunk is fine. As long as I can understand you and you are mostly coherent.

If I were back in Australia and I was of comparable age to the questioner , I would like it , but I certainly wouldn't like it here in Asia because it would show a complete lack of class ( vast majority of females dont drink ) , so its horses for courses I guess.

Unlikely considering if anything sexual happens and you wake up and decide you didn't like it you can accuse him of rape and his life is over even though you wanted it when you were drunk. Worse still from personal experience being drunk doesn't necessarily stop women from trying that

As in a phone call from someone who is drink or verbally say you are drunk

Because the latter if I am, okay I'll accept

The former well I don't give my phone number to all and sundry so the few people with it aren't stuck calling type of people

When someone is called drunk, it implies that they seem like they're being awkward socially, too loud, and it's usually a negative connotation, so the answer is no. No one really likes being called drunk.

Drunk calling my ex to tell him I miss him? He does not.

Drunk calling a guy I am dating to tell him I want to come over right now and suck the soul out of him? Yes.

Hey sweetie. I could ask you the same question cause if someone decent had raised you you’d know that it costs you literally nothing to be nice or scroll past something if you have nothing of value to say. Enjoy your day

Either you weren't raised correctly or your parents are non-existent. Get a brain

Have some self control, there's no reason to be drunk and if you can't control yourself when you do get drunk, then that's a major red flag.

Right. I mean people slip up now and then.. what if it were someone you really liked? You still wouldn’t?

Not, I would like them less. There's no reason for this "slip up".
