Guys, do you think it's cute when your girlfriend acts "like a little kid" when she wants something from you?

Let me define acting like a little kid: Meaning, she bats her eyes at you, gives you the puppy dog face or says things like "awww please" or "pleaeeassee" or "pleasy please"?

Or do you find this really annoying? Or just funny?

Let's say your girlfriend really wants to see some girlie movie that you don't want to go to... and she gives you the puppy dog face and jokingly goes pleeassee?

Does this kind of behavior bother you? Or do you think it's temporarily cute?

Honestly, it annoys the hell out of me. I guess it would depend on the topic at hand, but I would feel really weird if she were to ask me something and end it with a please as if I was someone above her. In your example, saying please won't be a big deal as long as you don't act like a child while doing it. When saying please would be a big deal would be if no one is watching T.V. at the moment, and she were to ask if she could watch a certain show. Like I was her master or father or something. In that case it would bother me since I want to be in a relationship where both partners are see each other as equals, and if a girl is doing some sort of puppy dog face and saying pweety pweese like a child, it would turn me off.

Huh so it kind of depends on the guy it seems so far... but it definitely seems like some of it guys find annoying. interesting. This is good to know though... I always thought guys loved it. I guess for me, I grew up where please and thank you followed almost everything... so I tend to say please with a lot, but not in a kiddish way. with this guy I was at a concert, drinking, and I texted him can we go to a concert pleasy please? I guess I thought I was being cute... apparently not haha

It sounds childish to me, but maybe it works for some people. I guess it can be cute if the guy knows that she's just being playful. That's something that she should find out from him. If he doesn't like it, hopefully he would tell her.

Interesting. Yeah, that's exactly what happened to me. I was being entirely playful... and I said can we go to a concert pleasy please? That was enough to initiate some really long convo about how I'm not inferior to him and we're on the same level playing ground. I thought that was a little intense for one comment.

Honestly, he's just that kind of guy who sees one wrong thing and then he gets stuck on it. I appreciate his opinion so I do ask him if he's okay with blah blah a lot, but I don't act like a little kid often. If anything, HE acts like a little kid too. It's weird.

I honestly think it's freaking annoying. Like, it's too childish and when I'm dating someone like that, it feels like I'm babysitting a 5 year old instead of dating a mature woman. It get's truly tiring and irritating when every conversation you have with her is either how babyish or cute she is when she acts like this, or when she wants me to participate in these fetishes of hers when she acts like a child. Ya, and as long as it's not her trying to make me buy something for her. I hate women that would expect a guy to buy her something.
