Signs a girl with a boyfriend likes you?

I know it's a slippery slope, so please no moralizing. I simply want to know what signs to look for. There's a girl who's been with her boyfriend for two years and her behavior towards me recently, combined with some instances in the past, is suddenly starting to make me think that she's into me.

It's a road of trouble Bro...though I'll try to give the best advise I can

here are some signs -

1) Notice her body language when she is talking to you. Sometimes, girls will give clues when you are talking to her. She may bite her bottom lip a lot when she is around you. She may not necessarily hang out with you a lot to like you! Make sure you have a lot of things in your head that she likes because then out of the blue you can take them out.

2) Look and see if she makes eye contact with you or stares at you more than once." This is a good clue to telling whether or not she fancies you.

3) Listen to how she talks about her boyfriend and the tone of voice she uses!" Does she talk about all his faults in a bored voice? She may not like him as much as she used to. Also, if you know for sure that she has a boyfriend, yet talks to you a lot and NEVER mentions him, it could mean she likes you.

4) See if she tries to get near you. She may sit by you, "accidentally" see you in the hall at school, etc.

5) Think about this girl, and then think about her boyfriend. Is her boyfriend rude, while she is very sweet? You may have heard that opposites attract but not usually in this case.

6) Do not change for this girl, but try to become her desired boyfriend, and let her know you like her." For some, this may be nerve-wrecking, but girls like any guy that will just tell her how he feels.

7) Don't feel bad if she turns you down. There are plenty of fish in the sea, and she may have just been perfectly happy with her boyfriend! This is no reason you two can't stay friends.

8) Be patient. Eventually, she might come around.

here's the key: I haven't been looking for it. The only reason this started in my mind is because of the actions she's done. She's initiated these things herself. It's not like I asked her.

See, this is tricky, especially if the girl has a NEW boyfriend and is simply beaming at everyone and everything including the random stop sign...

SIgns may be willfully misinterpreted ONLY BECAUSE we really want to see a specific sort of message/sign from another person. In your scenario (since you don't give any detail here), it seems as though you want her to want you. She's probably attractive and smart. You probably know all her little work habits by heart and have heard a few of her stories (good or bad) about her life, including a few about her man. This does not mean that she is into you; it means that you are her "office husband" and confidant.

Unless she is making overt sexual advances on you, there are no grounds for thinking that she's leaving the guy for you. There is no reason to think that she is trying to drag you into a complex relationship of any sort (flings, threesomes, etc.). She is just confiding in you. Girls do that. We don't always realize that it's turning the guy on to us because we're not thinking of the guy as a sexual entity. We save that sort of thing for our boyfriends/husbands...

I'm not her confidante at all.

She came to some event I was at because I was speaking there and she told me she came just for me. She stayed the whole time, complimented me a lot after, and the whole conversation we had was giggly. She also led me to a secluded area; I'm not sure what her intentions were there, but there was definitely something different about these interactions than before.

She's been with her boyfriend for 2 years; I know nothing about him.

not to mention a year ago, at a party, she came up to me out of nowhere and started rubbing my face.

(1) I presume that she was drunk at the party. It was a year ago and not something she followed up with afterwards...

(2) She was showing support for a co-worker, which I think is pretty cool. It would be rude to leave the event. Perhaps secluded area was just quieter (for convo) than the main area?

(3) If she's not confiding in you, there's even less reason to think that she's into you in that respect.

If it really bothers you and you can't avoid/ignore her, tell her you're uncomfortable...

Trust me it happens especially if that boyfriend of hers isn't giving her the time she needs or treating her right. Sure two years is a while and there are memories but if they are all bad there is nothing keeping her there if she has an interest in someone she feels will not only treat her better but feels she has a connection with. Plus if your staring at her back she knows that you do to.
