When a guy becomes too touchy...

So this guy I know is attracted to me, and we are good friends...recently I've been feeling that he became more touchy...I don't know if he does t unintentionally or he thinks he's being subtle about it...but I feel that he does it on pospose...for example if we both reach for the same thing I feel that he makes sure or hands touch, he pokes my arm, high-fives me at times, and the other day for example he came to talk to me and placed his hands on my shoulder (I felt that was more touchy than usual)...and the other day we were talking and I became worked up about something but in a very (not serious) way so he holds my hand for at least 10 seconds as he said whatever he said.

So does he mean "touching" me, or not? and what does this say about him...

Sounds like he's flirting with you by touching you. I'm very conscious about it and will only do it if I like the girl and actually want to flirt with her. Sometimes I do like the girl, but choose not to touch her. It depends, but it's a deliberate choice I make. I also know there are people (both girls and guys) that are naturally the more touchy type, so it's not necessarily flirting - but they are in the minority though.

Touching is a basic form of flirting.
