Why do some guys get touchy feel-y after a hookup?

I usually imagine hookups just being what it is, hooking up and leaving. Yesterday I hung out with a guy to play mario kart and I really wanted to play rainbow road lmao. Anyway, after a game of mario kart he gave me the look but i ignored him bc we hadn't played rainbow road so i told him to put it on and we played. We hooked up afterwards and then we talked for a little and he kept leaning in for a kiss or he'd kiss my cheeks or go in for a neck kiss. And i was like? And i don't think he wanted to go again (for a few reasons i won't disclose lol). And before i left he wanted to play one more game of mario kart. Then he took me home but on the way to his car, he had his arm around me and he was grabbing my waist and stuff. When we got to my place, i was just gonna give him a high five and eave bc i'm awkz. But he leaned in for a kiss instead and i was like uhh, i pecked him and left. I don't get why guys do that shit. Like he's not the first guy to do something like that and it always boggles my mind, i guess it's more out of the generalization that guys just want to have sex and move to whatever is next. Not saying that he got attached or anything but I just never expect a guy to be that nice afterwards.
