Long distance relationships can be tough- especially when you're young. If you REALLY like the guy- and vice versa- it can work out... especially with the beauty of Skype... and it can be worth hanging in there.

A young guy l know stuck it out with his girlfriend who lived in another country- for well over a year... almost 2 years apart- and now they are happily together.

I have been in a monogamous longterm relationship with a girl (also living in another country) for an even longer period of time. Its certainly not ideal... but... well... we're best friends.

I used to think such a thing was impossible- but it can be done if both sides want to do it... until a better situation arises.

What he means is, at the end of the day, he finds peace within himself when he's with you, talks to you, or sees you. You are the comfort that brings him joy and he forgets all his worries and problems in his life. You're the angel he needed in his life.
