Why do American guys not understand the power of eyebrow aesthetics?

Asian and middle eastern guys have awesome eyebrows. I have seen the worst eyebrows in America. Why don't American guys get their eyebrows groomed? I think they would be so surprised to see how nice eyebrows can improve their looks.

The main problem with men's eyebrows is the sparseness. Men's eyebrows should be thick, dense, close to their eyes, and the part of the eyebrows closest to the nose bride should be lower than the end closest to the ears. They should be mostly straight but a small arch is good as well.

yeah, a uni-brow is a bit much I so agree. however, I do like a more natural look on guys eyebrows and don't seem to care about, or notice that much, when they have strays. there are many females that don't know the measurements of the eyebrow...so I don't expect guys to really know all of that stuff. the guy I date is actually into keeping his eyebrows maintained, which is actually weird to me because I have never met a guy that is super core about it. Haha it is kind of annoying because sometimes I catch him just staring at my eyebrows. He will say, "oh my gosh, you have a stray! you HAVE to let me pluck it. He can't stand it when I am growing my eyebrows in because that is when I have a lot of strays and he can't even look at me haha.

Because what you like is heavy eyebrows that have been groomed. Traditionally a lot of American guys were from a cultural background where they have eyebrows like the guy in the third link. Grooming isn't the issue. Grooming won't do the photoshop job done there.

His eyebrows are very faint. Dying them darker with make them appear thicker, so yes grooming won't make them look as quite as thick as the second image but it will help a great deal.

Dying darker - however received - is not the same as literally adding more hair. Its not that the eyebrows are light, its that they aren't thick and bushy.

I suspect it also speaks to women's tastes. I'd guess a lot of American women don't even like thicker eyebrows. The main complaint women have about them is 'bushy' or 'monobrow'.

I know its not the same. I know there is no way to make eyebrows denser unless you get hair transplanted there but dying brown eyebrows black will make them appear thicker.

Most women are really attracted to thicker eyebrows in the same way men are attracted to long hair and curvy hips. Its more masculine and women are attracted to masculine features. .It can be backed up by scientific evidence.

It is true that women complain about bushy eyebrows (eyebrows that have long hairs) and unibrows because it looks unkempt, but they are actually not as bad as a bare or completely bare brow, because all it takes is a little grooming and they're fine. Its easier to go thinner than thicker.

I'm sure it is. Perhaps that's why women don't complain much about thin brows. Guys with a unibrow, their partners say 'ugh, pluck those few'. If a guy has thin eyebrows, most women would assume that's just how it is.

I do and do groom. Well luckily I have naturally tamed eyebrows, but get it tweaked to smooth em out when I get my haircut.

Guys generally don't care and many can be lazy. Also some considering it feminine or gay. Girls generally don't seem to care either or put too much emphasis, so there is no pressure on guys to maintain their eyebrows.

Because girls find it a turn off if they find out a guy who trims his eyebrows. Girls seem to want guys who are great looking with no effort into their looks which is practically impossible. Probably why girls find the majority of guys unattractive

Some arch is good but not high arch. A lot of arch is too feminine on a guy. That isn't questionable. Most girls don't like guys with feminine eyebrows.

You're right that some people do have natural arches but there are ways to reduce some arch (its easier to reduce the arch if he has thick eyebrows, but not much can be done if the eyebrows are thin).

Haha I never said what my eyebrows looked like, I just don't see the point behind anyone stressing too much over them to the point they start considering how to style them lol. I know at least I don't pay much attention to anyone's eyebrows. I'll notice them but not go into analysis mode.

Who has stress? There's nothing wrong with considering how to style them. People consider how to style their hair and clothing too. You must think that's going into analysis mode as well. If you don't take pride in your appearance that's fine, but there is nothing wrong with those who do.
