For some reason or another, said princess has her head down, possibly due to sadness or despair. Such behavior is causing her to be unable to see who she really is as she's letting something get her down when in reality she is better than that.

Well it means to hold your head high or you'll lose your dignity. The crown thing is saying if she doesn't believe in herself and hold her head high her crown will fall leaving her ashamed and not exactly a princess
