Honestly, while I've always thought it was weird personally, I don't think it is uncommon. I've seen many tall men with short women, so I've come to assume it must be a natural attraction on some level. Now, the only reason I object is that it seems unfair to short guys whom are looking for shorter girls, or for tall women whom want a taller guy to be with, but that's just speculation. As long as you're happy together, then it really doesn't matter WHAT anyone else thinks!

The only worry I might point out, though, is this: if you're naturally a big guy and she's small, it may be difficult or even dangerous for her if you someday decide to have kids together. If the baby takes after you in size, pregnancy and childbirth could become problematic. I know this from observation of family members whom have had similar situations. I don't say this to scare you, only to let you know what such a relationship may entail down the road.

Quite a large height difference but youd be surprised at how common tall/short relationships are.

Just look at it this way, you can do a hell of a lot more things in the bedroom than couples the same height.

I'm around 6'5" and my first girlfriend was like around 5'1" or something. I don't think it's weird. Being tall is nice because you don't have to care about height at all.

I am 6'6" and in high school I took a girl who was 4'9" to prom. Granted I was 6'4" or so at the time, it worked out just fine.
