Hello! So I am 5'2 guy dating a 5'9 girl. she's very lovely and doesn't care about vain kind of things like height, but sometimes when we're outside people tend to stare a lot and become very insecure and feel like dying. The worst thing is that when we are out and other men check her out, who are over 6ft, I feel so small and weak because if something were to happen, I wouldn't be able to protect her, (I'm not that strong) sorry for ranting...

Take the stares as a compliment. If a tall girl is willing to date a short guy, that must tell something about the short guy. If someone makes a mocking comment about your height difference, just say you have so big dick you don't need to be tall, or something like that.

Of course you feel insecure next to a bigger and stronger guys, everyone does, but you can do something about that. Go to gym and start mma or bjj. And as long as you don't, you keep feeling insecure. Even doing everything you can to close that gap will make you feel better about yourself and give you more confidence and peace of mind about the issue.

Most of the time you don't even have to be able to kick someone's ass, it's enough you're not scared of physical confrontation. That itself makes you appear dangerous and most people don't want to mess with you. Bullies always target those who appear weak and they know they can get away bullying you, or in this case hitting on your girlfriend in front of you.

I knew a guy who's same height or even shorter and he always had hot and way taller girlfriends. He never showed any insecurity or fear because of his stature, but was loud and always at the center of attention. When you're charismatic people will respect you no matter your size.

No that's not too much of a height difference and the only important thing is that you two love each other and are happy together.
