My boyfriend wants me to die my hair blonde

and I'm a brunette.

It makes me insecure and I know he really means it, he asked me quite a few times. I like guys with piercings and long brown hair, but it doesn't mean I'll try and change him. Why is he trying to change me?

At the same time he's "changed his mind" about it, I told him it doesn't look good on me, but I bet he just gave up trying. Help is much appreciated, he's an otherwise quite sweet boy (although his jokes sometimes are a bit harsh).

Yeah don't. Don't change your appearance for a man. An ex once asked me in all seriousness to put on 20 pounds for him and I was like WHOA!

Your boyfriend needs to know if makes you insecure! Does he know? DId you communicate your feelings? if you did all that and he STILL insists, there's a big problem. He needs to date a blonde because that's all he sees apparently.

Unless he's actually pressuring you into it, you needn't worry about it. Just be what you want to be and if he really loves you, he'll suck it up.

If you want to do it as a sweet thing, get a fancy-ass blonde wig and wear it during sex or something.

The wonderful thing about hair is it grows back and out and you can change hair color more than once. If it's not too much trouble then whey not honor his request but then make one of your own. Tell him what you want. Maybe he'd be willing to trade requests. My uncle preferred blonds. My aunt was a brunette. But he kept staring at blonds everywhere he went. So my aunt bleached her hair. My uncle never looked at another woman. He was loyal like a puppy dog. Is it really an unreasonable request?

Its you r choice but if I want something and she doesn't agree to it I will find someone that does. Don't act like guys don't give women what they want because plenty of us do
