Have you ever gone swimming with dolphins

I went this time when I was vacationing in Mexico and it wasn't as good as advertised (they said we'd get an hour but it was over in 45 minutes and there was 7 of us so we only got about 5 minutes of individual time with the dolphin) but I think I would still like to do it again sometime.

Absolutely true. Male dolphins are known to gang rape other dolphins, male and female, and they are not real picky about what species they mate with. There is a news story every year or so about dolphins trying to rape swimmers.

Wild undomesticated dolphins are evil little rapists. I copied this from a website asking if dolphins rape humans, dolphins have sex for pleasure, gang rape their females or anything/anyone they can get their filthy prehensile dolphin penis around.

Check it out for yourself, multiple sources back this up. Don't go swimming with dolphins in open water! They may drag you off and rape you!

I love dolphins.

I've always wanted to. After reading your experience & others that said you only get 5 minutes I don't know if it's worth the money.

I did take a jet ski out once & 3 maybe 4 dolphins put on a show for me for about 5-10 minutes. They were mostly jumping. The more I cheered them on the higher they would jump. Some people told me there must have been a school of fish where I was but I really think they were putting on a show.

That sounds exciting. I want to do that. I heard the dolphin swims are better when you do it in the bahamas - you get more alone time with the dolphins etc... so hopefully next time I'm vacationing somewhere else I can go dolphin swimming again.

I wanted to be a dolphin caretaker when I was little, so it was always one of my biggest dreams. Obviously now that I'm older I have slightly different goals, but the 7-year-old inside of me is still dying to swim with a dolphin. Sadly I haven't gotten the opportunity yet.

I did it in Hawaii once and we each had about 5 minutes to take a picture and hold on to the dolphin as he swam you out then in...that was basically the extent of it

yes wild dolphins while surfing down here in FL. I've also been swimming with a pod of manta rays and a school of spinner sharks(not fun)

Same... Yeah it sucks when you see a shark under your wave... O_O! Been there done that when I was younger.

thats one major thing I hate about Fl is they are freakin everywhere!

It's seems that way in recent years, but it wasn't all that common 15-20 years ago. They were still out there, but now it seems you see schools of hundreds of them at a time. I use to only see them on occasion up at Reef Road in West Palm, but now they're all over Deerfield/Pompano and people catch them shore fishing...

I swam around with a wild dolphin while snorkeling down in the virgin islands. He played with me and my cousins for a good 10 minutes before swimming off! Best vacation memory I've ever had
