PS: I am bored so I asked this question.
What is your reaction when you see a cockroach?
PS: I am bored so I asked this question.
Do you mean an actual cockroach, which is less than half an inch long and almost always part of a colony infesting a home, or do you mean a palmetto bug? Palmetto bugs are the kind that can fly and about2 inches. Everyone thinks they are roaches, but they're not. They are very closely related, but the major differences would be that they don't actually live inside of a human home. They come in seeking water, which why they are sometimes called "water bugs". They also will seek a cooler environment and try to come inside during extreme heat. THOSE don't bother me at all, and they are actually clean as bugs go. Now actual roaches? I flip my shit because if there's one, there's usually about 1000 cousins with it. NASTY.
I would scream. Or squeal. The first reaction is involuntary but my next is to get rid of it. Once I killed a roach and I swear I heard him scream as he died. It was awful. I did not sleep well that night. I felt like a monster. But what else could I have done?! It had to go. I actually saw a roach the other day too, under my purse when I went to pick it up off the floor. I thought it was dead so I poked it with this chair and then it came to life and threatened me by running around. Luckily a hero came to my rescue and saved me. I was lucky. I don't know what I would have done if either of them flied but I'm sure I've seen it. I've seen too many of those things. And still, just the thought of them drives me insane
If it's a flying one, I'm like oh sh*t, just don't land in my food! Then I'll try and find a fly swatter. If it's a normal coachroach, I'm just like eww, how the hell did you get in my house? I'll go find a bucket or a dumbbell to crush it with and scoop it up with the bucket.
If it's a crawling one I would just step on it provided I had shoes on, but if it was flying and I was in a confined/closed space than I would start freaking out, sorry I have a phobia of flying insects in a confined/closed space. After freaking out, I'd grab the closest spray bottle/can and spray the hell of it, may not kill it but at least I'll be enough to drop it to the floor for me to tramp on it
Once I was in a public bus, and I saw people (mostly young ladys) running away from me, when I noticed a a tremendous huge cockroach, I grabbed it with bare hands and threw it away(safely). And then everyone looked with disgust at me, And I felt great for fella.

I was at friend's friend's house when I first saw a flying roach. I told myself, if I don't do anything to it, it won't do anything to me. WRONG! Next thing I know, it flies towards. I flipped the hell out. Never again will I go to their house. Plus its crawling in roaches o.O
I used to live in a very old apartment building that was infested with cockroaches, they were huge fuckers size of my fist (I'm in the south) and I had a heck of a time trying to kill them, it takes at least 10 bashes with a pan in order to even knock it out it will come back from the dead after a few minutes, a few more bashes and it finally dies.
Zombie roaches LOL!
Whenever I see a cockroach (especially a big one) I want to impale it on a stick a roast it over an open fire. I don't want to eat it, I just like to roast em.
Snap crackle pop!
When I see it, the first thing I say is "Eww.." I am like in my head I am not going to step you because hearing you crunch just makes it nastier. I am going to throw my brothers or mom, flip flop to kill you... not mines.
I don't freak out, I actually see where it's trying to go, get the broom & take it out lol, no point in killing it, UNLESS it's a bunch of them but don't get me started on frogs, I'll run like hell lol
Cockroaches are not welcomed by a lot of people because they are associated with death and disease.
When I lived overseas, I had a pet spider and wall lizard to fight off cockroaches and Mosquitos.
Cockroaches? I couldn't care less, really... It's not like they eat a lot or anything like that, so just leave them alone. If my wife has a problem with them, I put it outside somewhere.
flying or not…I'd lose my fucking head. I don't deal well with bugs, except for things like ants and butterflies. Even after I demand someone to kill it, I'd be paranoid for at least half an hour haha
If it would be in the bathroom,I'd scream and tell my dad to kill it lol. But if I'm alone I will keep an eye on it until I find the closest notebook or book and S-Mash! XD
Death by smashing between paper towel. Is my reaction.
I've never seen a cockroach irl. :D But I'd probably freak out since I hate bugs, and cockroaches are nasty.
"Well I see we meet again... *pulls crossbow* this time I will win..." yeah it escalate VERY quickly.
I actually feel physically ill when I see one.. I don't scream or run, I just start retching as I try to scoop it up and flush it down the toilet!
Whip out the RAID! Or when I lived in Hawaii there were flying ones and I would take my hairspray and spray um down.
Trap it in whatever room it's in. Get some matches. Burn the house down.
It's no different than my reactions to spiders.
ill keep my eye on it and cry for hours till someone comes and kill it
any bugs. even a ladybug :''(
I would go with B, I just find it funny that they are pretty clean, even if we touch them with our hands they need to clean themselves.
First time I saw one was when I was 15 and I did not know they could fly, one flew at my brothers face, haha, I'm not really bothered by them.
Option A if no one else is there then I'll do it myself while I'm FREAKING OUT!
i scream and run,hehehe
I'd pick it up by pinching its antennae, and let it fall out of my balcony to the grass below.
Never seen one but I'd be jumping about screaming eww take it away from me
Reaction: That is not good news at all. I hope I don't have an infestation somewhere, because I don't have very many extra fucks to give.
B...
but if the cockroach fly , I would ask my family :P
Kill the motherfucker asap then clean anywhere that bastard walked and got smashed.
I'd call an exterminator and call it a day these things can spread as quickly as the flu I would get someone else to look after it!
Hope there's more of them and that they break out into song and dance ala Joe's Apartment.
Why does that sound familiar?
I'd be exceptionally horrified since we don't have cockroaches where I live.
Yeah but its really tough to get infested by something that hasn't taken up residence in this little corner of the world...
KILL IT!
Not even a "eek" or "eww" just kill it! Same reaction as if I saw a Zombie
if it comes near my food ...KILL IT!
Ewww! Scream and run!
i usually just step on it
No lie I would step on it.
Scream and hide under my bed
Have never laid eyes on a roach
Kill it!
Step on that little f*cker and call it day.
Definitely A. lol
