Buy two cans of Mace brand pepper spray. It has an ultraviolet dye that the attacker won't know is there. But can be used to find him, later, by the police. Why two cans? You cannot just buy one and hope to be proficient with it. Practice your aim with the first can. Not just your aim, but how fast you produce it from your pocket. Your life may depend on it.
