How to fade the purple from using Gentian violet in my hair?

usingMy friend just tried to use Gentian violet to try remove the yellowness from bleaching her hair but used half the bottle and now she has purple hair. Does anyone know how to get the purple out quickly.

my friend ended up using anti dandruf shampoo. It fades it quicker.

It usually fades with washes (in my experience), so I would suggest to her to keep washing her hair with shampoo as often as she can take it. It should fade and come out eventually.

I used a mix of 50ml of citric acid mixed with lemon juice about 30 ml and vinegar about 30 ml. Poured it over my hair be careful because if if it gets in your ear it burns like hell. Use this mix as you woykd shampoo. Rins and wash with anti dandruff shampoo and conditioner. Rinse oof and dry. It really worked for me
