I dyed my hair purple but it didn't work?

I used this l'oreal paris colorista washout (temporary) pastel color thingy but I didn't see any change in my hair color (brown) , should I bleach it first or what?

Or light purple hair you need to start with extremely light bleached hair. You could probably get a permanent darker purple dye to work on your brown hair which would be much less damaging.

Purple doesn't really do much against brown hair. But, don't bleach it, that's bad for your hair
