Why does he call me by my name instead of hunny now?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 6 months. When we first started dating he would call me cute names like hunny or sweetie. Now he calls me by my name. For example he will say I don't know megan or whatever you want to do megan. Why does he do this? I was reading somewhere where guys sometimes do that if they are gonna break up with you or are losing interest. Is this true or is normal to happen in relationships after you been dating for awhile.

My boyfriend actually never calls me any: sweetie, hunny...etc.. I like that, because I would be in shock if he decided to stop saying that. Ha ha. He only calls me "hunnybuns" when we are cuddling and doing something lovable together. We have been together for 2 years. . . So my point is that you are good, he still loves you and cares about you even if he doesn't say stuff like that. I'm guessing your honeymoon phase is over that must be the reason why this name calling is stopping, but the only thing you can do is to keep the relationship special and exiting, before you know it you will hear cute names like that regularly again. :)

Stop reading online articles from random people with just an "opinion". You're getting yourself worked up for no friggen reason. You should be focusing on what's going on overall in your relationship instead of him just mentioning your name. Mentioning someones name could also be because they think of you alot. Whatever. You mentioned him saying your name in the most negative ways above,and if your energy continues on that...then you may be kicking up trouble for your relationship in your own mind. Try asking HIM why he says your name so often. Good luck.

Ha, how in the hell are we supposed to know what your boyfriend is doing or thinking? Why don't you try asking HIM instead of internet strangers?

And besides, is what he calls you as important as you're analyzing it and making it out to be?
