Would it be cruel to play a pregnancy prank on my ex?

We've been broke up for about a week now but I thought I was pregnant but it turned out I wasn't I called him the first time and told him that I might be he was very cruel and ask me was I on birth control and he knew I wasn't on birth control and he always would say that he wanted children with me when we were together. But of course he was acting different when we broke up I just want to give a little scare

Having been very deeply hurt in long-term relationships, I understand the extreme desperation one has because they are in so much pain, and those feelings could lead to irrational thoughts of revenge such as this. I encourage you not to do this, as I've known a few girls who have tried and the outcome is unpredictable. You will also feel terrible later when you realize how childish a pregnancy prank is. Some guys become vicious and will just hurt you more by demanding an abortion and saying very hurtful things. Others might actually become very hurt themselves, which is what you want but understand that they could go rebounding to feel better which might cause trouble and pain for the innocent person they rebound with. And of course there are a few guys who would actually try to make things work because they want to be responsible and in the child's life, which you would never be able to explain when they start requiring proof of the pregnancy and conception timelines won't match up if you decide to purposefully get pregnant to cover up your lie! If you're trying to get him to stay with you through this fake pregnancy, think again. There was a reason you broke up in the first place and trying to fix it with a lie isn't going to work. Every possible outcome from this will just be messy and hurtful to YOU!

Thank you for your encouragement sometimes the pain can be unbearable when all you really want is for that person to care again like they used to. I'm thinking about the good and bad times we had and to just throw it all away hurts like hell I just don't want to become bitter in my other future relationships. rejection is a hard pill to swallow sometimes

I understand but when your heart is broken by a guy you've been knowing for 9yrs some women may tend to do irrational things or think about doing irrational things which is my case but I'm not going to do it. I'm just hurt about the breakup
