What does it mean if a married man has a soft spot for you?

Please don't judge me, I'm not some silly little girl who thinks he is going to leave his wife for me, I'm just curious as to what is meant by it. He kissed me passionately once after getting drunk & tried to take it further but I said no. Neither of us mentioned it the next day, we just carried on as normal. Last night I was in his company again & we had both been drinking, nothing untoward happened we just had a laugh like friends. Anyway, some girl was annoying him & I said to his mate something about how I might annoy him & his friend said to me that I wouldn't annoy him because he has a soft spot for me. What is meant by soft spot? Cause obviously he fancied me to kiss me but just because you fancy someone it doesn't stop them from annoying you, they could still annoy you, even people you love can annoy you.

It's not about sex because if he wanted to cheat on his wife and try it on again with me he could of, but he didn't.

I'd be wary - cheaters are people who take the easy way out instead of doing the hard work of keeping a bond. That's why so many of them repeat it over and over.
