My (23F) ex (28M) and I recently got back into contact. He was my first boyfriend right out of high school. He is part of a program where he has to make amends. He admitted he tried to get me pregnant on purpose on many occasions. We grew up in the same neighborhood, we lived in a poor majority Latino area were single motherhood is the norm. He owns a good amount of real estates which he got paid in cash when we were together. He said he just wanted to have an "heir" to inherit all his assets once he was gone but didn't want to be a father or pay child support. I thought to myself that's horrible, looking back I had a lot of close calls with him. Should I forgive him?

I don't know. I don't understand. It. Based on what I understand. Alimony exist. So government don't need to pay to divorced women. In past it used to make sense. Because many women didn't used to work. But now? Hmmm. There should at least be some limit on alimony. Getting half of everything is insane to me. Alimony should be limited to enough wealth that they can live middle class lifestyle. Not billion of dollar.

Yes, men are better at selecting mates , better daters and use better judgment.

For example, men can decipher who is wife material, just sex and just girlfriend material.

Women on the other hand cannot decipher the nor separate the two because they lack logic, street smarts and common sense.

For example, they don't know when a guy is just telling them what they want to hear to get in their pants, they're not smart enough to comprehend nor accept when they're rejecting by a guy, they assume just because one date a man is their boyfriend, they assume sex will make a man like them. They are the smartest individuals honestly.

With the whole man vs bear debate. It seems like men are missing the point that if they acted like bears women would like them more.

Girl A = used to be quite plain in high school, slightly chubbier and awkward → she worked on herself and now she's more confident, slim & fit and radiating youth and before then undiscovered beauty

Girl B = used to be skinny, one from the flow, trendy pretty gal, had benefits → now she's possibly through some relationships, is less fit, gained some to a lot of weight and faltered, and despite caring about her appearance her beauty somehow is fading out

I believe most people, especially women, can be separated into these 2 categories.
