I don't know why I do it, but I can't stop. I haven't seen him in 10 years. I use those anonymous instagram story viewer things, where you input their username on a 3rd party website so they don't get a notification. I know everything about his life, all his friends, the new girls he's dated etc... It's like a tv show that I regularly tune into watch. Is this creepy or normal in this day and age?

Been in a long distance relationship for almost 2 years, we see each other a couple times each month.

Got into a small argument over the phone and he said he wanted to end the conversation. He's about to hang up and I asked "were you not going to say I love you?" I usually have to initiate saying I love you after arguments so I was hoping he would say it this time.

He gets angry and asked why I'm controlling what he says and when he says it. He says pretty rudely "I don't know about you but when I'm angry I don't want to say that. I don't want to say anything. Why can't I say I love you later when I've calmed down?"

Because what if there's not a next time? What if something happens to us and the last thing we did was argue without saying I love you? I thought saying I love you regardless showed maturity and that you really loved each other.

But I guess I'm the crazy one

Plus, we had agreed early on in the relationship to not be petty and always make sure the other person knows that we love each other. I'm honestly really hurt.

I'm wondering if you dislike being asked about your feelings. It seems like many guys that I have known avoid the "how are you feeling?" Types of questions when the answer isn't "good". I feel like men just don't like talking about their feelings? Am I right?

They cheated on you but as compensation, they give you money. It can be them paying you for your counseling sessions, new clothes or shoes, a brand new bed (if they cheated on your bed), cash, them paying to bail you out if you fight their affair partner, etc.

My dad's of French Canadian descent with distinct Native American (Iroquoian) on his mother's side.

My mom's father is of British and Dutch descent, whilst her mother is half Japanese and Korean.

Basically, in amounts, I'm 50% French Canadian, 25% Korean, 25% Japanese, and I'm not really sure about the others, but I know they're there.

Growing up in our house it was a glass of sherry, a mince pie and of course a carrot for the reindeer. He must have liked them because they were gone in the morning.

Different houses leave out different snacks but sherry and mince pie or milk and cookies seem the most common.

Seeing as Wales and Scotland have their own parliaments for exclusively Welsh and Scottish laws, surely England should have it's own parliament?

While I understand that the government is based in London I genuinely think its a great opportunity to make the UK feel a bit more equal - they could base the English government somewhere in the north maybe instead and it would mean that English exclusive issues would be decided by English people instead of everybody else - I think also when thinking about this you need to remember that England is a devolved part of the UK and is not the UK so in a way it's kind of unfair.

My feelings towards the UK is that it should be an equal and voluntary union and this doesn't feel equal. Just an idea though.

I am pretty starkly against it, I want it replaced with an elected body but sadly thats never a priority
